To be able to carry out the multitude of tasks, Rijkswaterstaat, in addition to its permanent staff, makes use of a flexible workforce. This flexible workforce is mainly active for Rijkswaterstaat's non-core tasks but is also used for temporary personnel needs when replacement is required or for expansion of core tasks.
For this, Rijkswaterstaat has chosen a new hiring model with two neutral framework parties. One of the objectives is to achieve maximum market reach so that all relevant companies can compete for hiring assignments at RWS. In addition to Circle8, Magnit has also been selected as one of the two brokers.
