The pension sector is facing major changes. The introduction of the Future Pensions Act (Wtp) means not only a new contract model, but a fundamental change in processes, systems and data management. At the same time, daily operations must continue to run. At Circle8 we know that this transition requires more than capacity alone. That is why we are proud that Peter Gerrits has joined us as pensions program manager. With his arrival we bring in solid experience at the intersection of pension administration, supervision and change projects.
“The transition to the new system affects everything at once,” says Peter. “Data, IT architecture, participant communication and compliance. And everyone is looking for the same people. It is therefore important not only to bring in the right expertise, but also to think carefully about team structure, knowledge safeguarding and implementation options.” At Circle8, Peter will help pension organizations assemble the right teams. From project managers to IT specialists, from data people to communications professionals, all with a keen eye for the practicalities of the Wtp.
Peter's experience partly stems from his earlier role at Blue Sky Group, where he was responsible for the further development of the backend system and the implementation of the Wtp for a fund. Under his leadership the first fund successfully transitioned to the new scheme. With Peter's arrival, we at Circle8 are taking the next step in our services within the pensions sector. In combination with our collaboration with training partner Lindenhaege, we are able not only to supply professionals, but also to actively train and provide substantive guidance.
