The CAK collects the personal contributions for the Social Shelter Act (Wmo) and the Long-term Care Act (Wlz) and then pays out the various care providers. In addition, the government agency also implements schemes for clients who would otherwise fall outside the Dutch healthcare system, so that people with payment arrears, the uninsured, conscientious objectors, foreigners and people abroad retain access to care. This contributes to the affordability and accessibility of care.
To support the IT organization, the CAK makes use of external talent. “Together with a consortium of strategic partners, Circle8 will fill every request for temporary IT personnel for the CAK. Circle8 provides the complete handling of request, recruitment, contracting and management of external IT talent,” said Peter Gram, Director of Government at Circle8.
Agreement
The framework agreement entered into force on 14 augustus and has a term of 29 months. After this period, the CAK has the right to extend the framework agreement once by a period of one year under the same conditions, up to and including 31 december 2026.
