Status as of oktober 2023. Last week Minister Van Gennip presented a draft bill intended to clarify the rules for working with employees and self-employed persons. As a result, workers and employers should be able to find out more quickly whether an assignment may be carried out by a self-employed person or not. This successor to the Wet DBA is called the Act to Clarify the Assessment of Employment Relationships and the Legal Presumption (Wet VBAR).
