In juli an inspiring meeting took place in which all participating women came together. After a short presentation by Defensie, there was the opportunity to get to know each other personally and exchange experiences. It was wonderful to see that this initiative produced such a great result for all involved.

About the ‘Equals Program’
With an ecosystem of companies, governments and non-profits, Equals promotes the position of women in tech. Equals works with employers and tech schools to retrain women into a junior ICT role. The women have on average 5-10 years of work experience, are predominantly highly educated and possess good soft skills.
Collaboration Circle8 and Brunel
The candidates will be employed by Brunel for 2 jaar and, via a DetaVast construction, under Circle8's contract at the department ‘Command materiel and IT’ of the Ministry ofDefence. During these 2 years they receive personal guidance and become members of a ‘Women in Tech community’. After 2 years the candidates start, of course subject to good performance and in consultation, as a mid-level employee in a (permanent) employment contract with Defence.
