How have you experienced your first 88 days at Circle8?
I found my first 88 days at Circle8 to be incredibly enjoyable and instructive. The combination of a dynamic environment, a new area of work and a relatively quick handover made it intense right away, especially with the Municipality of Amsterdam as the client. But precisely that energy and complexity make the work challenging and valuable.

What has surprised you the most since you started here?
What has surprised me most in a positive way is the mutual helpfulness within Circle8. Colleagues are genuinely willing to brainstorm, share knowledge and, where necessary, go the extra mile for one another. That creates a pleasant and collegial working atmosphere in which you quickly feel at home.

Which skills or insights have you developed in this first period or do you want to develop in the future within your department?
During this initial period I have become even more aware of the importance of external political sensitivity, especially within the public domain. It is something I want to delve into further and grow into, because it is essential for sustainable collaboration and for effectively fulfilling our role toward clients.

What do you like most about working at Circle8 and why?
What I like most about working at Circle8 is the challenge of getting the relatively new framework agreement with the Municipality of Amsterdam to land well and smoothly. This requires coordination with different departments and stakeholders, and thus offers plenty of room for influence, growth and results.

If you could give one tip to a new colleague who is just starting, what would it be?
My tip to new colleagues would be: make sure you quickly get to know your internal stakeholder field. Think of your direct colleagues, but certainly also of the supporting teams. That internal connection is enormously valuable for finding your way and making a difference together.
