The first 88 days of Pim at Circle8

At Circle8 it's about more than just working. It's a place where collaboration, personal growth and a pleasant working atmosphere are central. But what does that feel like in practice? We spoke with Pim, who has now been working for 88 days as an MSP Consultant. Pim looks back on his first period and gives us a look into his daily activities.

Trust from day one lays a strong foundation for collaboration"

How have you experienced your first 88 days at Circle8?

I found the first period at Circle8 to be very pleasant. From day one I felt welcome in the team. Colleagues are approachable and willing to offer input, which is very nice as a new employee. I was also immediately well received at the Municipality of Stichtse Vecht, where I carry out my assignment. That combination of commitment from both Circle8 and the client provides a strong start.

What has surprised you the most since you started?

What positively surprised me was the trust you receive from the first day. There is room to organize your work in your own way, within clear frameworks. That trust is motivating and gives you the energy to truly contribute to the team's result.

Which insights or skills have you developed – or do you want to further develop within your role?

Within the MSP team there is plenty of room for individual input and working style. In these first months we, as a team, have among other things taken steps to explore the possibilities of AI. This is a development that I follow with great interest and in which I want to further deepen my involvement in the coming period, both strategically and in day-to-day practice.

What makes working at Circle8 attractive to you?

The combination of trust, substantive freedom and variety makes working at Circle8 valuable. You are given the space to take responsibility, but you are never on your own. That balance makes the work both substantive and people-oriented.

What tip would you like to give new colleagues?

Be curious, ask questions and share your ideas. Within Circle8 there is a lot of knowledge available and colleagues are always open to think along. By actively participating and communicating openly, you'll quickly find your place within the team.
