Ten years ago our colleague madeEdwin Souwer een belangrijke keuze: he decided to join Circle8. A decision that, as he himself states, felt very natural:

"I had already collaborated several times with what was then still called IT-Staffing and had also visited a few times. The atmosphere felt immediately pleasant and agreeable. So when they were looking for an account manager, I didn't have to think long. I knew: this is where I wanted to be a part of. That was the beginning of a wonderful period – a period that continues to this day. And then one day you look back and realize that ten years have just flown by!"

What makes working at Circle8 so special?
Even after ten years, the enthusiasm with which Edwin speaks about his work remains undiminished. According to him, this is mainly due to the combination of great colleagues, inspiring clients and committed independent professionals and suppliers:

"The pleasant collaboration with colleagues, the warm contacts with clients and partners, and the successes we achieve together — all of that makes every workday worthwhile. Within Circle8 there is mutual recognition and appreciation for everyone’s contribution. You are never on your own. That sense of connection and building results together makes working here not only successful, but also genuinely enjoyable."

Learning, developing and growing together
Ten years of Circle8 also means ten years of personal and professional growth. Edwin sees one important lesson in this: working together brings hidden talents to light:

"What I have learned most over these years is that every colleague possesses both known and unknown qualities. It is precisely in situations where we look for solutions together that those talents come to life and sometimes surprising insights emerge. I therefore always remain open to the ideas and perspectives of others; it enriches my own perspective and ensures that you continue to grow."

His advice to new colleagues fits seamlessly with that:
"Actively seek out collaboration, be open to advice and use feedback to further develop yourself. That not only makes your work more enjoyable, but also really helps you move forward, personally and professionally."
