A significant part of the IT Department is located in Breda from where IT Services are developed and provided for various BMW entities and the European market. The position is a challenging and stable one within a premium organization, part of the BMW Group. There is a lot of room within BMW Financial Services for your own ideas and initiatives. Together with approximately 100 other software developer colleagues, you create an open and supportive working environment.

As an experienced senior level Java Fullstack Developer, you will design, build and deliver the enhancements and the 3rd level support for internally developed applications.

You are part of an Agile Development team and work at least 2 days per week from the Breda office. The Agile Development team invests the majority of their time in back-end development, and the same will be expected from you.

Eisen:

• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Java Fullstack Developer.
• In-depth Java design and programming experience for application services, preferably Payara or Quarkus.
• Experience with Java related tooling and standards like Maven, Junit, JAX-RS.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes, preferably on Azure.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in cloud technologies and deployment models.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools, specifically Tekton, ArgoCD, GitHub, Nexus and Sonar.
• Proven track record of driving MVP implementations in a technical multi-tiered environment within a large corporate enterprise.
• Experience with relevant standards and frameworks.
• Work experience in The Netherlands and speaking Dutch fluently is a requirement.
• Proficient in business English, both in writing and speaking.

• Experience with Angular, Typescript/JavaScript, RxJS and having used one or more state management libraries is a big plus (NgRx or NgXs).
• Having used Nx is another plus.
