Achtergrond Opdracht

A significant part of the IT department is located in Breda, where IT services are developed and delivered to various BMW entities and the European market. By joining us, you’ll get the opportunity to work in a great team that collaborates with several national and international teams of highly skilled professionals.

As an IT Application Management Specialist with a strong focus on Business Intelligence, you’ll work full-time (32–40 hours), based in Breda. You will be part of a Hybrid DevOps team, working at least 2 days per week from the Breda office. You will work within the TOBI (Target Operating Business Intelligence) domain and provide coordination and support for various BI-related applications. The team is responsible for development, production support, and operational stability of these applications, with a strong focus on BI and data flows.

• Operational Stability: Ensure smooth operation of BI-related systems within the BMW infrastructure, with high availability and optimal performance.
• CI/CD Management: Manage, maintain, and improve continuous integration and deployment pipelines for BI applications and services in e.g. Jenkins.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system performance and quickly resolve issues, especially those related to data flows and reporting.
• Data Flows & Analysis: Analyse and resolve issues related to missing, delayed, or incorrect data, ensuring integrity and continuity of data flows between applications in Snowflake.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the point of contact for internal teams (development, infrastructure, security) and external partners, with a focus on BI and data management.

De opdrachtgever is opgericht in 1997 als divisie van de BMW Group. Met het hoofdkantoor in München wordt de organisatie in meer dan 30 landen wereldwijd vertegenwoordigd als toonaangevende leasemaatschappij en mobiliteitsprovider. NOTE: 4x9 werken is niet mogelijk vanwege de interne bedrijfspolicy!

Eisen:

Eisen

1. At least basic SQL knowledge.
2. Understanding of ETL tooling.
3. Understanding of Linux environments.

1. Experience with Data integration (ETL) tools such as Informatica (both cloud and on-premise versions), and databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and Snowflake.
2. Experience with Data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, SAP BO, and Quicksight.
3. Experience with Frontend and backend technologies such as Angular and Payara.
4. Experience in a Hybrid DevOps team setting.

Wensen:

40 hours per week expected and preferred, 32h exemption might be possible depending on the scope.

2 days per week in the office.

Minimum 1680 hours per year expected, (in general 1760).

Travel distance within 100 km (or <60 min travel) to Breda is highly recommended.
