What is a talent coach?

The talent coach is the solution for the employee who is looking for more happiness at work. A talent coach supports the employee in gaining insight into their unique skills, motivations, mindset and personal ambitions. By coaching talent among your employees, they become aware of their personal development. Take a good look at the added value of your permanent employees. Together with a clear policy and an engaged talent coach, your employees thrive and grow.

Developing talent in 3 steps

Every employer wants employees to be satisfied and thus make a better contribution to the organization. You can develop the talent of your staff in three steps:

1. Talent policy

In an engaged internal culture employers provide space for talent development for employees. In addition to varied work, feedback and recognition, good career planning also plays an important role. After all, retaining talent is not only cheaper than recruiting new talent, but you already know which strengths and weaknesses your employees have.

2. Coaching

Employers can stimulate the growth of all employees with coaching. Boomer or Millennial: employees want to perform and complete their work with pleasure. With a talent coach you can purposefully encourage your employees to develop their talents. However, there does need to be a good match between the organization's needs and your employee's needs. By continuously engaging in conversation with employees you can support them in their personal goals in their career.

3. Talent development

A talent coach is not only suitable for the most ambitious employee: you can get regular employees out of their comfort zone through coaching. Together with a talent coach they can work on their personal goals and commit themselves to the current and future challenges of your organization. A talent coach is not an unnecessary luxury: every employee could use a helping hand!
