How did you experience your first 88 days at Circle8?
My first 88 days at Circle8 have flown by. From day one I felt welcome in the team. There was a pleasant energy and I immediately got the feeling that I truly was part of the whole. As Support Recruitment I quickly took on responsibility and was involved in various processes, which has helped me enormously to quickly find my footing.
What has surprised you the most since you started here?
What surprised me most was the level of involvement and cooperation among colleagues, even across departments. There is really a team spirit, and everyone is willing to support each other where needed. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised by the space you have to put forward ideas and show initiative; that is very motivating.
Which skills or insights have you developed in this first period or would you like to develop in the future within your department?
During the first period I mainly learned to switch more quickly and to remain flexible in a dynamic environment. I also gained more self-confidence in taking responsibility. I also gained more insight into our internal processes.
What do you like most about working at Circle8 and why?
What I like most about working at Circle8 is the combination of a professional work environment with an informal, pleasant atmosphere. You really feel like you're part of a team, and at the same time you have a lot of freedom to do your work in your own way. That trust and autonomy make me enjoy going to work.
If you could give one tip to a new colleague who is just starting, what would that be?
My tip: ask questions, even if you think they're ‘simple’. Everyone here is willing to help and you learn fastest by just doing things and trying them out. And above all, be yourself — the strength of Circle8 lies in the people and your uniqueness is exactly what you bring to the team.
