“A great learning environment where I can truly develop myself”A flying start at Circle8

My name is Michael, I am 23 years old and live in Nieuwegein. As part of my Sales and Account Management program I am allowed to do an internship during this period. Circle8 came into my life via teammates from my football team. They spoke enthusiastically about the company, and by chance there also turned out to be an internship position available that perfectly matched my learning goals. So the choice was quickly made – this is the ideal place for me to further develop over the coming period.

Getting acquainted and discovering

My first week was mainly about getting to know people and gathering information. I shadowed several departments to get to know the company well and to understand how everything works together. That immediately gave me a complete picture of Circle8 and a warm welcome to the team.

Working in a pleasant atmosphere

What I value most is the pleasant working atmosphere. I work with many nice colleagues, and I feel that I can turn to anyone, whether it's about a question or just a friendly chat. That really makes working here enjoyable every day.

Responsibility and growth

I am doing an internship asPayroll manager, which means that I have a lot of contact with self-employed professionals. I coordinate information with them and help them choose the service package that best suits their situation. It is varied work and I learn something new every day.

Become better every day

An important learning point for me is making professional phone calls. Because I call professionals a lot, I notice that I'm getting better at it. It helps me not only with my communication, but also with my confidence during conversations. It's therefore really nice that I can learn this at Circle8 and that they give me the confidence to grow in this.

Good guidance and teamwork

I find the support at Circle8 truly excellent. I work closely with Mike, and that collaboration is very pleasant. I'm given plenty of room to learn and to ask questions. I also notice that time is genuinely taken to guide me properly.

An internship that I recommend to everyone

I would definitely recommend an internship at Circle8 to other students. It's a pleasant learning environment where you get the chance to develop, make mistakes, and learn from them. Moreover, you work in an enthusiastic team where there is also room for socializing, which makes it even more fun.
