Are you a communicatively strong account manager with sharp commercial insight and experience in recruitment? Then this is your chance to make a difference as a recruiter at Circle8.

In this role you are the director of the entire recruitment process, from the moment a request comes in until the successful placement of the right candidate. You work closely with internal colleagues, suppliers and self-employed professionals (ZP’ers), and know better than anyone how to align interests and keep processes running smoothly.

You manage your own portfolio of clients from both the profit and non-profit sectors. Thanks to your proactive attitude and sense of responsibility you are able to switch gears quickly, even under time pressure. You are not only a team player, but also strong working independently: you keep control over your work and ensure deadlines are met. Whether you work in our ATS system Byner, negotiate rates or liaise with suppliers, you make sure the perfect match is found.

You will join a close-knit team of 15 experienced recruiters with one shared ambition: to be among the top 3 employment mediators in the Netherlands within three years. You play a key role in this. What does your day look like?

You start the day with a short team meeting in which you together discuss bottlenecks and

keeps each other sharp. After that you get to work independently: you review CVs, make a selection and liaise directly with suppliers or freelancers. You know exactly which profile fits your regular end client and act quickly and carefully. As soon as the right candidate is chosen, you present them to the client and neatly wrap up the remaining matters. Deadline met? Check!

After a joint lunch with colleagues, you continue building your network, answering questions from stakeholders and processing the administration. You monitor the process, maintain an overview and ensure that everything is correct, from pricing to placement.


What do you bring?
  • You have at least MBO level 4 and two years' experience as a recruiter, preferably with IT profiles.

  • You have experience managing recruitment processes and know how to lead them efficiently and with a focus on results.

  • You switch effortlessly between different stakeholders and know how to build and maintain relationships.

  • You are skilled in communication, commercially strong, and know how to persuade.

  • You are analytical, entrepreneurial and always proactive.

  • Knowledge of the DBA Act is a plus.

  • You have a good command of the Dutch language and preferably also knowledge of English.

  • A salary between €3110 - €4500 for a full-time employment contract and appropriate for your level.

  • You work between 32 and 40 hours per week, at our office in Nieuwegein. Partial working from home is negotiable.

  • 8.33% holiday pay because you have other things to do besides work.

  • Collective health insurance and €120 gross per month contribution to health insurance.

  • If you take out your health insurance with Nationale Nederlanden, we will pay the premium for the supplementary insurance.

  • Travel allowance and if you travel by public transport we reimburse the expenses incurred.

  • Work-from-home allowance.

  • 25 vacation days (for a full-time employment) plus 2 additional days determined by Circle8 and with the possibility to purchase extra days
