Business Intelligence Engineer (FG-3632/FAR) - Financial Services

The project

For a new business line were are starting a green fields reporting project which involves rights, roles and structures. All data sources are managed locally in our Breda office. You’ll work in a strong collaboration with our München based business to acquire requirements. The goals is to work out a complete reporting solution for this new business line.

What you’ll be doing

• Analyze business requirements and work with business stakeholders
•  Communicate data architecture to development teams
•  Design and Development: Create, design, and develop advanced Tableau reports, dashboards, and visualizations that meet business requirements and enhance decision-making processes
• Data Analysis: Conduct detailed data analysis to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Tableau visualizations
• User Experience: Focus on improving user experience by designing intuitive, easy-to-navigate dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key insights
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other team members to gather requirements and deliver high-quality BI solutions
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau workbooks and SQL queries for performance and efficiency Composing data marts from existing data sources ensuring only relevant data is used for reporting.

De opdrachtgever is opgericht in 1997 als divisie van de BMW Group. Met het hoofdkantoor in München wordt de organisatie in meer dan 30 landen wereldwijd vertegenwoordigd als toonaangevende leasemaatschappij en mobiliteitsprovider. NOTE: 4x9 werken is niet mogelijk vanwege de interne bedrijfspolicy!

Eisen:

What do you offer and take forward?

• Considerable experience in delivering BI projects
• Project and Stakeholder Management -> good communication skills
• Data Requirements Engineering
• Experience in designing Data Marts for Reporting
• Experience in designing reports in Tableau.
• Experience with tableau server
• Financial service background
• Experience in ATC tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Fluent in English

Wensen:

• Cloud experience (AWS, Redshift, Snowflake)
• Business proficiency of the German language
• Experience in working in an enterprise scale, agile environment
